I apologize that the rate of posting has slowed in the past few days. For one, it’s due to the launch of Admissions 301 – my email course on advanced Ivy League admissions topics. For two, I’ve been working hard on several other projects that I will share with all of you soon!
However, I have an offer for readers on a first-come, first-served basis.
I will edit your resume and/or college admissions essays for free
There’s a catch: you’ll let me videotape the “editing session” to share with other readers.
I won’t be doing many – at most, 3 of each (resume and essays).
But I hope you realize this is an incredibly valuable service. After all, your resume/brag-sheet is one of the most important supplemental parts of your Common App. And the right admissions essay is by far the best way for adcoms to get a sense of the REAL YOU.
If you’re interested, here’s how you participate
Send me your resume, your essays, or both in .doc format. Also, include a brief description of your bio/background – eg, what high school, key clubs and activities, etc. This will give me more context to provide the right type of advice.
Thanks and I look forward to working with you!
